Introducing I would fight the dragon by @catdragongames

Medieval-themed games always catch our attention. What could be more fun than dressing up as a knight to storm a castle 🏰? To visit ye old taverns and trade tales from glorious adventures? To defend a city from a terrifying deadly dragon? Wait... mayyyybe not that last one! But you'll never know 😉

GAMEPLAY

In #iwouldfightthedragon, players must come up with excuses as to why they cannot fight the dragon, while keeping the appearance that they really would if they could! 🤷🏾‍♂️

The game consists of 5 different types of cards. Swords, Shields, Helmets, Horseshoes & Armor. All the equipment necessary to go and fight the dragon. 😀

The goal of the game is to help the others find their missing gear while claiming you do not have the proper equipment yourself. 😏

Each round, players play a card face down into a pile in the middle of the table, with their excuse.

For example: "I WOULD fight the dragon, but the market ran out of sacks for my produce and now I must use my helmet to carry my food home." (See example above 😜)

The card you placed face down could be a helmet card you're trying to get rid of, or any other type of card. But the rest of the players have a chance to call you on your bluff! 🤓

If a player gets accused of lying, the face down cards are revealed. If a helmet was indeed included, the liar must pick it up and place it face up in front of them. 😬

But accuse incorrectly and you receive a card from your accuser which must be placed face up in front of you. Now that everyone sees that you indeed have that certain piece of  you may not longer lie about it! 😅

The game continues as players are caught as proven as less than noble knights. They are forced to go fight the dragon when all 5 card types are face up in front of them; never to be heard from again! Last knight alive wins. 😋

We find this game to be quite entertaining as the stories people come up with always make us laugh. 😊 Great family game!

Enjoy! 🤓
