Shady Pets
If one of your favorite pastimes is scrolling through adorable photos of pets in sunglasses on Social Media, you're going to LOVE this game.
SubTerra
Ok so we had WAY too much fun playing Sub Terra by Tim Pinder! (So much so that we actually received a noise complaint! 🙉)
You are a caver trapped underground and your task is to navigate the seemingly unending tunnels to escape with your life!
Not only is your flashlight running out of energy, there are unknown horrors down here to worry about.
Can you escape?

Principle Dilemma
We would like to thank Joe Tarnowski for gifting us his amazing self-published game Principle Dilemma!
We gotta say, it's quite possibly one of the most unique games we have ever played. Principle Dilemma is a thought-provoking, conversation-inspiring masterpiece. It's projected game duration is 30-90mins, but we honestly played for 3 and a half hours before realizing it!! 🤣

Total Rickall
It is based off the hit show Rick and Morty (Specifically the episode labelled Total Rickall) in its first season.
In the episode, alien parasites have taken over the Smith house in a disguised form of the character's memories. Once they appear, the Smith family suddenly have fond memories of them, thus believing they were there as part of the family the entire time!
The game plays off this concept where there are character cards dealt out face up on the table; all with a hidden identity card (real or parasite) underneath.

Sagrada
What can we say about this game? First has gotta be its stunning beauty and overall design. Like... WOW! Makes us want to visit the real Sagrada Familia in Spain! 🤩
Players are challenged with designing the most beautiful stained glass window using the cutest vibrant little dice. Players roll and “draft” dice in order to fill their entire game board, but it's not as easy as it may seem! 😛

5 Minute Dungeon
This game is a thrilling time-based dungeon crawl. It's an amazingly chaotic game of chance and skill, where players must work together to get through a series of rooms and defeat the dungeon's boss.
After The Virus
While looking through our game shelf, this one seemed the most relevant to what's going on today and is also just a great game! 🤓
After The Virus is a cooperative deck building zombie game. All character boards have a specific set of cards that you start with. So one player can start with better weapons, more opportunities to escape zombies 🧟🧟♂️ or be equipped with traps to help kill zombies. 🧟♀️
What's cool about this game is with normal zombie games you typically take actions separately from other players. In After The Virus, players use cards simultaneously! (There are NO TAKE BACKS though 😱 So play as a team and don't play cards too fast!) 😂

Clank!
Clank! is a competitive dungeon deck-building game. Players play as thieves who are challenged to sneak into an angry dragon's den and steal artifacts as silently as possible! 🤫
If you are intrigued by medieval lore and fantasy mixed with dynamic strategy and a bit of luck, you'll love this game 😍

Kittens in a Blender
We couldn't wait to get to this game! Kittens in a blender is a hilarious turn-based strategy game where the goal is to save as many of your kitties as possible from becoming a blended beverage, while sending your opponent's kittens into the blender!
Boss Monster
The second we saw this game in the store it HAD to be on our shelves 🤩 Growing up in the 90's means that any game pixel-related sticks out like a sore thumb. Look at that artwork!! 😍
Anywho... 😅 Boss monster is a dungeon building, hero tricking game of epic proportions.
Players must lure different types of adventurers into their dungeon in an attempt to kill them in one of its rooms. We really like this game because normally you (the player) would be the hero attempting to slay the boss, but in boss monster you ARE the villain 😈

Codenames
Codenames is a timed competitive game that is sure to test your creativity! There are two teams of agents only known by their code names, who are trying to avoid an assassin. 🤫
The spymaster knows the identity of them all and must try and make contact with them before the assassin discovers who they are. 👀

Wingspan
Ok so this one was on our list for far too long!! We first played it at a tabletop networking event in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the artwork and overall design.😍
The game-play admittedly threw us off at first because we only had 45minutes to learn and play, which was not enough for a group of 4 to fully grasp it. But the game's design is impeccable, the artwork is beyond gorgeous and the quality of the game's pieces show that its creators have a strong passion for what they built. 🤩

Vamp on the Batwalk
We would like to thank our friends at Jellyfish Game Studios for gifting us a copy of their game Vamp on the Batwalk.
We first saw this game at a Gaming Expo in Vancouver Canada. Every time we circled by their booth it was full of players eager to try it out!
It wasn't until the end of the expo where we had a chance to sit and chat with its creator and we just had to give it a try! 😃
Players take on the role of a vampire at a fashion show. Only problem is they do not know what they are wearing! (I mean, how could they?! 🧛♂️)
We found Vamp on the Batwalk really unique because while most games require you to look at a card's face, it's the exact opposite in this one!

Mr. Jack (Pocket)
We gotta say the artwork is what drew us into getting this game 🤩 (We are suckers for talented art in games 😅🤫)
The fact that gameplay is restricted to two-players really intrigued us as well. Typically games are 2-4, 3-6 or even single player, but we don't come across games very often which are solely for two, so we decided to grab a copy and try it out.
In this game you are either the famed murderer Jack the Ripper hiding disguised in an alleyway, or you are the great Detective Watson trying to find the killer by repositioning the detective tokens to be in the line of sight of your suspect. 🔎

Joking Hazard
If you have ever played Cards Against Humanity this game will automatically make sense to you. The difference in Joking Hazard is players are creating a three-panel comic strip instead of just playing cards.
Age of War
Introducing Age of War by Reiner Knizia & published by Fantasy Flight Games! We would like to thank @optimalhealthtrack (Instagram) for gifting us this incredible game. 🥰
The Age of War is a dice rolling game of combat and conquest based in feudal Japan. Each of the cards display a castle with a specific combination of symbols required to conquer it. If players are successful, they receive the designated points listed on the card.

Matchbreaker
We have many memories of watching those cheesy game shows on tv back in the day. 😅 They were often set in a mall on a fancy stage with lots of lighting and “old school” game show music! 🎶
As funny as they were, we always thought "I wonder how many of these answers went horribly wrong!" 😂
Well now we have a way to know! 🤩

Gloom
Ok we gotta say right off the bat... This game is HILARIOUS! 🤩😂
The premise is quite unique... Make your family's life as miserable as possible before killing them... But don't let that throw you off! 😁

Fill in the Game
We would like to thank our friends at Filling in the Game for gifting us their hilarious game. 🥰
We have all played those types of party games that get boring very quickly and boy did this team find a way to help solve that problem!
Usually party games are for adults(+) but we really enjoy how they created this card game so it can be played with any age group or personality type. 🤩

Escape the Quake
We would like to thank our friends at Skip Becky Games for letting us play their game Escape the Quake. 😀
When we heard of the concept for this game we were instantly intrigued because we had actually JUST watched the movie San Andreas with Dwayne Johnson and not even a day later we saw a post about Escape the Quake. (It is not based on the movie, just spooky timing!!)
Escape the Quake is set in Los Angeles right after "the big one". Panic is spreading through the city as players run around in search of resources while trying to escape.

Board Royale
We always wondered what it would be like to be trapped on a deserted island with our friends. Would we work together? Or would we fight each other and steal?
Well after playing this game, we sure hope it never actually happens! 😂

I Am Death Now
Introducing I am Death Now? By Josh Jack Carl and illustrated by Julián Santa! All of our games we backed are rolling in! It's like Christmas every month! 🤩
Josh took the seriousness of Death as a character and transformed it in such a playful way to make us think of what it would be like if Death was a teenager in high school. 😂
Would they go through the same life experiences as the rest of us? Or would death school be totally different? 🤔🤷🏾♂️
In I am Death Now, players are junior death students trying to get their death certificate by killing off their characters before the other players. 😈

Ticket to Ride
This classic best seller always makes us want to travel to exotic places by train. Anytime we go on a trip, traveling by plane or by car first comes to mind but imagine the beauty we're missing out on when you can just sit back and enjoy the world around us! 🤩
Ticket to Ride is a board game where players use trains to connect popular cities in North America.

I Would Fight the Dragon
Medieval-themed games always catch our attention. What could be more fun than dressing up as a knight to storm a castle 🏰? To visit ye old taverns and trade tales from glorious adventures? To defend a city from a terrifying deadly dragon? Wait... mayyyybe not that last one! But you'll never know 😉
Papillon
This game has been on the top of our list for quite some time 🥰
Tile games shout out to us like no other type of game and the beautiful artwork displayed in Papillion drew us in even more 😍
